CatBird Baby Pikkolo Carrier
The pikkolo carrier is a unique blend of mei tai and buckle carrier that features comfortable but slim memory foam straps, enables you to do an ergonomic front facing out carry, can be used from birth without a separate insert, and still works great for carrying toddlers up to 40 lbs.! Comes with detachable hood, optional chest strap for use with back carrying, and instructional booklet. 100% brushed cotton canvas (exclusive of trim).

In this picture you can see the extra support belt that can be added to the pikkolo to make it a traditional soft-structured carrier. It is designed for use in carrying older babies and toddlers and it is amazing the way it distributes the baby's weight to your hips and legs, similar to the way a camping backpack does.
