After much cajoling/nagging/arm twisting by my family (especially my brother), I finally decided to start a blog. Not that I think anybody is actually going to read it, but because my sister is a missionary in Thailand for the next two years and we wanted a way for her to keep up with what is going on with our family and our growing kids. It is also going to be a place for me to post about topics such as babywearing, breastfeeding, attachment parenting, homeschooling, cloth diapers, and anything that I decide is worth writing about. I guess I know a little bit about a lot of things and this will be a great place to share it. I may not post on a regular basis, but when I find something interesting or my kids do something funny, I'll put it on here. Who knows if anyone will read it, but at least my brother will stop bugging me.
For privacy's sake, my family will be known by the following aliases. You know who I am, but my dear husband will be known as Daddy-o (what my daughter used to call him), my 3.5 year-old daughter as Cinderella (her favorite princess) and my 5-month-old son as Junior (yes, he is actually a Junior!) If you know me IRL (in real life), I would ask that you use these aliases in any commenting you make on this blog. I think that's it for my first post.
